Don Henricks 83, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Pauls United Methodist Church with David Gardner officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home

Don was born on Tuesday, May 10, 1938 in Manitou, Oklahoma tio Robert and Edna Louise (Austin) Henricks. He was and educator and worked for the Duncan Public School System for 22 years, he was a member a St. Pauls United Methodist Church. He married the love of his life Darlene Sims on August 14, 1959 at Ed & Sis Savages home, Darlene preceded him in death on October 4, 2013.

Don is survived by his son; Jeff Henricks and his wife Lea of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughters; Christie Green and her husband Bill of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Donna Howell and her husband Tony of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Fred Henricks of Duncan, Oklahoma and 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren; Kyle Green, Chad Green, Brad Green, Jade Howell, Tyler Howell and Sidney Henricks, and Brady Henricks. Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Walker, Delbert Morrison, Mike Byford and Johnny Rue
