Don Newton Robinson, 87, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday June 13, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Reggie Creekmore & Bill Ball officiating, interment will be at the Walters Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Don was born June 22, 1933 in Healdton, Oklahoma to C.N. & Opal (Brown) Robinson, he worked for the Sun Oil Refinery and ranching until his retirement, he was a veteran of the United States Army. Don married Phyllis Jeannette McCombs on July 19, 1952 in Duncan, and to this union were born three children, Randy, Donetta and Debbie.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis of the home, a son; Randy and his wife Kara of Duncan, Oklahoma, two daughters; Donetta Shondelmyer and her husband Rick of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Debbie Sternadel and her husband Jimmy of Duncan, Oklahoma and 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; C.N. & Opal Robinson and a brother; Charles Robinson.
