Delores Jean Downey

Delores Jean Downey 76, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at her daughters home in Duncan, with her family at her side.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday December 21, 2020 at the Duncan Lake Pavilion.

Delores was born on Monday December 27, 1943 in Oklahoma City, one of five children born To Orville O. & Beulah (Hale) Springer, she was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Delores married Carroll Downey of Foster, Oklahoma in 1961 in Duncan, Oklahoma, and was the mother of two children; Angie and Alan.

Delores is survived by her husband; Carroll of the home, children; Angie Riley of Duncan, Oklahoma and Alan Downey of Marlow, Oklahoma, sisters; Deana Pemberton of Lawton, Oklahoma and Shirley Dixon of Duncan, Oklahoma, she was preceded in death by her twin sister; Shirleen, also surviving a brother; Orval Springer of Weatherford, Oklahoma and 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
