David Ray Smith 62, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Duncan.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Standifer officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

David was born December 30, 1958 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Harold L. Smith & Edna Faye Keele he attended Duncan Public Schools and graduated fron Duncan High School, he worked in the Oil Fields and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

David is survived by his companion Faith Owens of Duncan, Oklahoma, a son; Jeremiah Lynn Smith, brother; Jackie Smith & his wife Mary of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters; Debby Covington & her husband Buddy of Marlow, Oklahoma, Tara Bumpas & her husband Greg of Duncan, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father; Harold "Bud" Smith, mother; Edna Keele his grandparents; Floyd & Bethel Smith and E.C. & Ara Fletcher.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Covington, Greg Bumpas, Matthew Smith, Shane Pennington, Rick Baker and Ryan Lamberson
