Christopher (Chris) Underwood

Chris Underwood 43, of Blanchard, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Chris was born February 23, 1974 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Rick & Linda (Sinnett) Underwood, he was raised in Duncan and attended  Duncan Schools and was a graduate of Duncan High School.  Chris was married to his wife Moriah and has two children, Jacob Cole and Darrien Nicole.

Chris is survived by his wife Moriah, of the home, a son; Jacob Cole & a daughter; Darrien Nicole Underwood both of the home, his parents; Rick & Linda Underwood of Duncan, Oklahoma, his sister; Michell LeAnn Corkrean.

Pallbearers will be Ryan McKinley, Daimon Girod, Justin Watts, Joe Singleton, Richard Hortless, Tommy Brown, Dr. Jim Davis and Joe Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Anderson, Josh Cockrean and John Rue.
