Carrie (Bell) Foster Tomlinson

Carrie (Bell) Foster Tomlinson, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Gutley officiating, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will recieve friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Carrie was born February 21, 1933 to Wilson Lee and Margaret (Edwards) Keck, she was a graduate of Empire High School, she grew up in the Empire and Duncan area. She married Joe Foster, in January of 1952, he preceded her in death. She liked to crochet and loved to cook for her family and friends. She always liked to take care of anyone and was very proud of her family.

Carrie is survived by her daughter; Debbie Thacker and her husband Dale of Duncan, Oklahoma, a sister; Margaret Cornwall and her husband Joe of Duncan, Oklahoma and Joy Fern Price of Duncan, Oklahoma, and a brother; Donald Keck of Sulfur, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren; Dianne Petty and her husband Roman of Duncan, Oklahoma, Rebecca Smith of Washington, Oklahoma, Joseph and Jake Foster of Norman, Oklahoma and Katie Taylor and her husband Russell of Norman, Oklahoma, also two great-grandchildren; Olivia and Lyra.

She was preceded in death her husband Joe Foster, and her parents; Wilson Lee & Margaret Keck, her sisters; Violet Swanson, Leola Shorter, Weanonna Bilbrey, Bernice Daubenspeck and a brother; Carl Keck, a son; Billy Joe Foster and a grandson; David Dale Thacker.

Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
