Carol Ann Burk

Carol Ann Burk 75, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at her home.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma with Marcus McEntire officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Carol was born on Sunday, January 28, 1945 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Garland L. & Billie Marie (Wilson) McEntire, she attended and graduated from Cameron University and the O.U. School of Nursing, she was a member of the Nurses Association, was a supervisor at Haggar Slacks for many years and a loyal registered nurse at Duncan Regional Hospital until her retirement.

She is survived by 2 brothers; Garland (Jiggs) McEntire & his wife Annette of Comanche, Oklahoma and David Paul McEntire and special friend Mary Mason of Kaw City, Oklahoma, and a dear friend Mitzi Copass of Duncan, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Garland and Billie McEntire and 2 sons; Billy Joe Burk and Scotty Burk.

Pallbearers will be Chad McEntire, Chris McEntire, Brant McEntire, Blake McEntire,  Ian McEntire and Jordan Thompson, and honorary pallbearers will be Garland and David McEntire.
