Betty Jo Minnick

Betty Jo Minnick of Azle, Texas went to be with her Lord, May 4, 2018 in Azel, Texas.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Crawford and Michael Wiggins officiating, interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday morning from 11:00-12:00 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Betty was born February 2, 1932 in Gilmer, Texas to Thomas E. & Frances Mae (Davis) Morrison, she was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother; great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Betty is survived by her husband of 69 Jake Minnick of the home, her children; Christy, Tom, Janet, and Kitty also by 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
