Betty Nell Blackerby 86, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Western Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating, interment will follow at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Friday evening March 25, 2022 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Directors from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Betty was born on Friday, May 31, 1935 in Loco, Oklahoma to Robert and Julia Velma ( Lawrence ) Stewart, she was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Betty married Roy L. Blackerby May 22, 1955 and to this union were born 3 children; Timothy Roy, Freddie Joe, and Judy Nell, she had been a resident of the Duncan area for 15 years moving from Ratliff City and she was a member of Western Heights Baptist.

Betty is survived by her children; Timothy Roy Blackerby and Freddie Joe Blackerby and Judy Nell Ricketts, 7 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, brothers; Edward Ray Stewart and Larry Dean Stewart
