Barbara Nadine Johnson

Barbara Nadine Johnson 84, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Duncan Regional Hospital with her family at her side.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Duncan Cemetery, with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Nadine was born August 30, 1935 in Artesia, New Mexico to Burr G. and Leola L. (Dingler) Sanders, she was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Nadine was married to Bob Johnson April of 1955.

We could speak of many things of Momma, but in a nutshell, raising her boys to know our savior was her greatest feat. Nadine was born in Artesia, New Mexico, met Dad at the age 0f 12 and he was 14 years old, a true love story, and one that will never end. Their favorite song was "Only You", her favorite hymn, was "We Shall Behold Him".

Nadine is survived by her husband Bob of the home, sons; Bart Johnson & his wife Bonnie of Duncan, Oklahoma and Mark Johnson of Duncan, Oklahoma, 1 sister; Betty Grisham of Springtown, Texas, 3 grandchildren.
