Arthur Eugene Reece
Arthur Eugene Reece 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home.
Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the V.F.W. Lodge, burial will be at Miners Cemetery in McCurtain, Oklahoma, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Arthur was born February 11, 1943 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Julius T. & Golda (Driscill) Reece, he was in the newspaper business and had lived in Duncan for 6 years. He attended the Assembly of God Church. Arthur married Christine Parker July 23, 1990.
Survivors include his wife; Christine of Duncan, sons; Alan Reece of Lindsay, Oklahoma, James Reece of Severville, Tenn., Melvin Bean of Duncan, David Bean of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jerry Randell of Jacksonville, Fl. Rocky Bean of McCloud, Oklahoma, Shane Hicks of Lindsay, Oklahoma, daughters; Kari Creekmore of Port Charlotte, Florida, Tari Hicks of Lindsay, Oklahoma, brother; Harold Reece of Canon City, Colorado, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Julius & Golda Reece, sister; Lula Belle Pitts, and grandparents; Nettie Gibson Reece, Lula Belle & Charles Driskill.
