Andrew Huckabaa, 63, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Huckabaa.

He is survived by his mother, Madelyn Huckabaa; his brother, Alan Huckabaa and wife, Lisa; his brother, Russell Huckabaa and wife, Paula; his sister, Jennifer Huckabaa, all of Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew was born April 20, 1963, in Arkansas to Jerry and Madelyn Huckabaa. He graduated from Empire High School in 1981 and proudly served his country as a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force. During his military service, Andrew traveled throughout Europe and Asia and was among those who assisted with recovery efforts following the Ramstein Air Show disaster.

Following his military service, Andrew continued his education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.

Andrew had a dry sense of humor and a quiet way of making people laugh, but beneath that humor was a deeply caring heart. He enjoyed spending time with his special group of friends known as the “Mall Walkers.” He was especially proud of his nieces and nephews and took great joy in watching them grow and seeing their accomplishments.

His care has been entrusted to Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. A graveside memorial service with full military honors by the Stephens County Honor Guard will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Jon Watters officiating.
