Allene Janet Clark 87, of Sherman, Texas formally of Duncan and Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Sherman, Texas.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors and a Celebration of Life will be held in Duncan at a later date.

Jan was born March 11, 1936 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Allen Curtis & Vivian Olean (Wicks) Groce, Jan was raised in Duncan and attended Duncan Schools and graduated from Duncan High School, she had worked in Real Estate until her retirement.

Survivors include a son: Rick Dean & his wife Cathy of Denison, Texas a stepson; Craig Clark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a stepdaughter; Kim Ott of Ardmore, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband; Bob Clark, and a son; Gary Dean, her parents; Allen & Vivian Groce, brothers; Allen Curtis Groce Jr. and Roger Thomas Groce and a sister; Ann Sparks.
