Al Bohannan 75, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Country Club Care.

Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Ronny Bernard officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Thursday evening August 5, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Al was born September 12, 1945 in Duncan to Willis Marvin & Louise (Gillispie) Bohannan, he worked for Halliburton Services in Machine Shop as a machinist before his retirement. Al was a member of the Ray of Hope Church, he married Joyce Rochell on June 11, 1964 in Duncan, Oklahoma and to this union were born three children, Darrell, Wylin and Carri.

Al is survived by his wife; Joyce of the home, sons; Darrell Bohannan & his wife Barbara of Duncan, Oklahoma, Wylin Bohannan & his wife Wendi of Duncan, Oklahoma and a daughter; Carri Sherman & her husband Cody of Duncan, Oklahoma, a sister; Mary Hartman of Walters, Oklahoma and 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Al was preceded in death by his parents; Marvin & Louise Bohannan, and sister's; JoAnn Bumpas and Rita Faye Walls.

Pallbearers will be Rick Bumpas, Shawn Bohannan, Keyton Bohannan, Cody Sherman, Clinton Bohannon and Carl Wylie.
