Linda Kay (Willard) Stapp

     Linda Kay Stapp 65 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Carter-Funeral Home Chapel, with Jim Wilson officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

     Linda was born May 19, 1951 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Joe M. and Oleta (Fletcher) Willard, she attended Duncan Schools and graduated from Duncan High School, she attended and graduated from college and received her teaching certificate. Linda also worked part time at the Duncan Community Residence and was a member of the Baptist Church. She and Gerald Stapp were married April 11, 1970 in Duncan and Gerald preceded her in death on March 6, 1995.

     Survivors include 3 sons; Brian Stapp & his wife Stacy of Colorado, Brent Stapp of Duncan, Oklahoma and Brad Stapp of Duncan, Oklahoma, step-daughter; Carol Pewitt of Waurika, Oklahoma, a brother; Terry Willard and a sister Nelda Wolfe of Colorado, 8 grandchildren; Nathan Stapp, Daemon Stapp, Nathan Stapp, Jason Stapp, Jared Stapp, Jaylyn Stapp, Rachel Lewis and Amanda Earnest and 2 great-grandchildren; Anna Lynn Lewis and Connor Lewis.

     Pallbearers will be Jeremy Williams, Dale Blaylock, Roy Franks, Brian Wolff, Terry Benedict and Matt Tillison.
