Kathleen Jones Rosser
Kathleen Jones Rosser 94, of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed away July 11, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019 at Bethel Church, with Rev. Ron Meador officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Kathleen was born October 27, 1924 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Floyd P. & Cora "Wagnon" Jones, she attended Marlow Schools and graduated from Marlow High School and attended Cameron College and the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma University in 1946, she was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church and was a longtime member of the Eastern Star and the Marlow Home Demonstration Club and the Neighborly Club of Marlow, Kathleen married Robert "Bob" Rosser January 4, 1948 at the First Methodist Church in Duncan, Oklahoma and they were married 58 years, and two this union were born two children, a daughter Corette and a son Robert, Bob preceded her in death October 23, 2006.
She loved her Lord, her family, her home, baking, and her flower gardens.
Survivors include her children; Corette Brown and her husband Glenn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and her son Robert F. Rosser of Marlow, Oklahoma . grandchildren; Kathy Rosser, Robin & Kevin Allen, Jeremy & Dyan Brown, Justin & Laura Brown, Jamie Brown & Fiancee Chris Dowdy, and great-grandchildren; Kyler & Kanyn Allen, Alexus Rosser, Riley Clayton and Madison Dowdy and Ryan & Kyle Brown.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Robert and her parents Floyd & Cora Jones and baby sister; Alice.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Brown, Justin Brown, Riley Clayton, Kevin Allen, Kyler Allen, Kanyn Allen, Chris Dowdy and Ben Rosser. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Rosser, Chuck Rosser, Bill Rosser and Gary Rosser.
