     Joe Daniel Parr 62, 0f Sulphur, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home in Sulphur.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Rowell officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

     Joe was born October 20, 1956 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Clint Parr Sr. and Darla (Anderson) Harden. Joe was raised in Duncan and was employed by Halliburton's for over 20 years until he retired in 2016. He also had a business "Joe Parr's Carpet" for 10 years. Joe enjoyed singing gospel music and leading the worship service at church. If you knew Joe, you would know that he is an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan.

     Joe was married to Rhonda Boren for 34 years and they were able to remain friends up until his death.

     Joe is survived by his parents; Darla and James Harden of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Clint Parr Sr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two daughters; Sandra Waters and her husband Patric of Duncan, Oklahoma, Crystal McConnell and her boyfriend Billy Lafferty all of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Clint Parr Jr. and his wife Lois of Desoto, Texas, sisters; Judy Woods of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Janie Sprague and husband Duane, Arlene George and husband Dick all of Davis, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Brittany Archer, Daniel Brock, Abby Yates and Michael McConnell Jr. 

Pallbearers will be David Don Brown, Billy Lafferty, Patric Waters, Michael McConnell Jr. Johnnie George, Tim George and Jed Boren. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Collier.
