Jerry Dale Beck 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church in Marlow, Oklahoma, with Dr. Richard Tinker officiating and assisted by Rev. Elwyn Rogers , arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Jerry Dale Beck was born November 4, 1941 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Ralph Beck and Bernice Morrow Beck. He attended Duncan Public Schools. In his early years, he worked for O'Dell Air Conditioning, Gordon Wilson Electric and Price Cattle Company. He later worked and retired from sheet metal work for 3M/Imation and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #124 out of Oklahoma City. Jerry was a "Jack of all trades" so to speak. He enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed fishing and Coon Hunting. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of each and everyone of them. Those that knew Jerry well would remember him for his quick wit and joking nature.

Jerry is survived by his wife; Carolyn Beck of the home, one sister; Nina Beck Fullerton (Charlie).

Jerry was married to Pearlie Chisum Beck on August 23, 1958. To their union came two daughters; Laketa Beck Bernard and her husband Ronny of Duncan, Oklahoma, Roberta Beck Anderson and her husband Clifford of Amber, Oklahoma, and a son; Ralph Beck and his wife Betty of Duncan, Oklahoma. Grandchildren; Chad Bernard, Stacy Chisholm, Chasidy Brown, Cody Brown, Jessiah Anderson, Randy Anderson, Clint Anderson, Alyssa Perkins, Autumn Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Aryanne Anderson, Michael Beck and Hayley Kelley. He was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Jerry later married Patty Ross Smith and became father to Richard Ross, Cindy Ross Bigger, Cheri Ross, Tricia Smith Mitchell, Jackie Smith, Guy Ross and a special granddaughter; Micki Ross Kalahan and her husband Kevin that he raised and loved as his own daughter and a host of grandchildren who called hi Papa.

Jerry married Carolyn Caples First on July 25, 2007 and became father to Jeffrey First (and wife Scarlett) and two grandchildren Evie and Maddie.

Jerry was a member of the First Christian Church in Carnegie until 2016. He an his wife Carolyn moved to Duncan in April of 2016 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. After the move, he began attending the First Assembly of God Church in Marlow, Oklahoma.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Leonard Don Beck and a sister; Loy Dean (Beck) Keck.
