     Frances Helen Edwards 90, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Ashbrook Village in Duncan.

     Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

     The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m. October 20, 2019 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

     Frances was born November 22, 1928 in Empire, Oklahoma to Nathaniel & Edna (Dupree) Cash, she was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and worked at 4 years for Southwestern Bell Telephone and later, she worked for ten years at the Duncan Banner, Frances married Andrew Edwards March 10, 1950 in Duncan, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1982.

     Frances is survived by her 3 sons; Geary Edwards of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Russell Edwards of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Victor Edwards of Duncan, Oklahoma , her daughter; Kay Briscoe of Richardson, Texas and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

    Frances was preceded in death by her parents; Nathaniel & Edna Cash,  and her husband Andrew Edwards, 2 brothers; Royce Cash and Earl Cash, 3 sisters; Lorene Medlin, Annie Vowell and Louise Carpenter and 2 grandchildren.
