Earl Dean Caldwell
Earl Dean (Pop) Caldwell, 91 years, 11 months, and 19 days, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, June 8, 2019 with his family by his side.
Graveside Funeral Services 1:00 p.m. Friday June 14, 2019 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Earl was born June 20, 1927 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Noah & Susan (Starns) Caldwell, he was the fifth of seven sons, Earl attended Duncan Public School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he married Wilma Sanders on July 20, 1947 in Nocona Texas, and she preceded him in death on February 27, 2016, Earl worked for Halliburton's for 25 years and was a licensed Electrician & Mechanical Contractor and was the owner of Caldwell Electric, he was an electrical & mechanical contractor for 50 years.
Earl is survived by his children; daughters; Debbie Wilson of Lawton, Oklahoma and Kim Williams & her husband Billy, of Duncan, Oklahoma, and a son; Jody Earl Caldwell of Lawton, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Susan Caldwell, his wife; Wilma and a granddaughter; Hope Strong and a great-grandson; Greyson Caldwell and Earl was the last of the 7 brothers.
