Donald Wayne Biffle
Donald Wayne Biffle 86 of Duncan, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Wilkins Nursing Center.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery with Mike Kaiser officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Family visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Don was born August 27, 1932 to John & Edith (Ridgell) Biffle in Velma, Oklahoma. Don married Jerry Sue Swanson and two this union was born two boys; Rocky Don and Johnny Dale. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was wounded by shrapnel minutes before the war ended and received a Purple Heart for his injuries.
Don has rodeo and dealt with cattle all of his life, hauling, buying and selling. He is well known around the National Stockyards and the El Reno sales, in his 86 years he has made many friends.
Survivors include a son Johnny Dale Biffle, two grandsons; Donald and Dakota Biffle and 1 great-grandson; Weston Biffle, also surviving are brothers; Bob Biffle and his wife June, Glenn Biffle, and Dale Biffle all of Duncan, sisters; Ann Harms and her husband Clyde Dale of Duncan, Jan Downey and her husband Robert of Argyl, Texas and Linda Lane of Duncan and many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Don was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years and 1 son; Rocky, his parents and a sister; Pat Garner and a brother; Tom Biffle.
Military Honors will be provided by the Stephens County Honor Guard and the Duncan Patriot Guard Riders.
In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Stephens County Honor Guard of the Duncan Patriot Guard Riders.
