Deborah Sartin 60, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at her home with her family at her side.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Sanders officiating, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
The Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel.
Deborah was born April 12, 1957 in Pensacola, Florida to John & Katherin (Wike) Ross, she was later adopted to Benton & Bennaza Hawkins of Key West Florida. Their family later relocated to Hastings, Oklahoma where Debbie grew up. She was a homemaker and a very loving mother, and grandmother and great-greatgrandmother, she was a friend to all who knew her. Deborah married Jerry Sartin on June 13, 2011 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband Jerry of Duncan, Oklahoma, sons; J.J. Duran of Oklahoma City, Okla. Ryan Duran & Chris Seratte of Comanche, Oklahoma and Chris Sartin & wife Tanya of Florida, a daughter; Kika Ward & husband Stan of Comanche, brother; John Hess Jr. & wife Jane of Pennsylvania, sister; Betina Hawkins of Corsicana, Texas, natural father John Ross & wife Jessi of California and Bennaz Chandler & husband Neil of Corsicana,Texas, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by sisters; Benandre & Bene Hawkins of Hastings, Oklahoma and Natural mother Katherine Ross of Pennsylvania and father; Benton J. Hawkins of Hastings, Oklahoma.
