David Philip Jackson

     David P. Jackson 78 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

     Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at the True Tabernacle Church with Rev. Eddie Jackson of Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church and Dewayne Jackson Christ Community Church, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

     Family visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.  

     David was born April 1, 1941 in Santa Cruz, California to Donald Eugene and Zella Jane "Wall" Jackson, he was retired and drove a School Bus, David had been a resident of the Duncan area for 27 years moving her from Tucson, Arizona, and he was a member of Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church.

     Survivors include his mother; Zella Jackson of Duncan, Oklahoma, a daughter; Cindy DuCheney of Idaho, brothers; Timothy & Bonnie of Media, Tennessee, DeWayne & Linda of Jacks Creek, Tennessee, sisters; Donnett "Dee Dee" & Harvey Nickell of Duncan, Oklahoma, Sharon & Wayne Evans of Duncan, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Sean Jackson, Hailey & Carson, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

     David was preceded in death by his father; Donald Jackson, sons; David Joseph, Mark Daniel & Jeffery Phillip, brother; Jerry Jackson and a sister; Priscilla Evans.

     Pallbearers will be Andrew Benton, Allen Brock, Matt Biffle, Tim Jackson, Keith Nickell and Dewayne Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Jackson and Mark Jackson
