An amazing man, Daniel "Danny" Eugene Pfeifer, 63 of Duncan, Oklahoma, was called to Heaven on July 16, 2018.

Danny was born in Duncan on Wednesday, August 17, 1955 to Jim and Nita "Copeland" Pfeifer. Danny married Judi Kaye Allen of Marlow, Oklahoma in Henrietta, Texas on January 19, 1972. The had two children, Danny Lynn Pfeifer and Misty Dawn. Danny worked for his father Diamond Jim at Duncan Gun and Jewelry before buying the business in the 1980s. The business grew immensely over the years. As Danny often put it he was "a collector for the collectors". Danny's family was his heart and soul. His appreciation and love for them had no boundaries. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Danny is survived by his wife and the love of his life; Judi of the home, daughter; Misty Dawn and husband Bill Turner of Bray, Oklahoma, grandson; Blade of Bray, Oklahoma, granddaughter; Sydney Germain and husband Alex of Oceanside, California. grandson; Devin Renfro and wife Hannah of Duncan, Oklahoma, and great-granddaughter Addison of Duncan, Oklahoma. He is survived by his mother; Nita Pfeifer of Duncan, Oklahoma, mother-in-law; Helen Allen of Duncan, Oklahoma, sister; Sonya McCormick and husband Mitch of Duncan, Oklahoma, sister; Ruth Bollig and husband Tony of Hays, Kansas, and numerous family members; including sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his beloved son; Danny Lynn Pfeifer, his father; Jim Pfeifer, father-in-law; Charlie Allen, and grandparents; Peter & Rose Pfeifer and O.B. & Aggie Copeland.

In Lieu of a memorial services , condolences, or flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to the NRA in Danny's memory. Danny Pfeifer will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
